All the legal stuff
From time to time we all need to get involved with the licencing authorities. Many people tend to use a solicitor to do this on their behalf. This is an expensive option, as the process itself is relatively simple and can be done yourself for a minimal cost.
The important thing is that you need all the right forms, duly filled in and signed, when you visit the local authority to do the deed. Their receptionists do not tend to know a greaat deal about licencing and will simply send you away if you don't have all the right documents.
For this reason we have included copies of all the licencing forms that you are likely to need on the right hand side. They are all in Word 2003 format and are publiic domain, so you can freely download and use these copies.
Once you have downloaded the requisit forms, just fill them in and take them along to your local authority (along with a cheque, of course) and hand them over. Job done. No Solicitors fees.
If you are not sure which forms you will need to fill in, either call your local authority, or drop us an email here, and we'll try our best to help. It really is easy, so save yourselves a few quid....
